Cluster Privacy Policy
Effective date: June 18, 2026
Overview
Cluster is a native client for user-managed Hermes, Odysseus, and OpenClaw gateways. Cluster does not operate a hosted chat service. The app connects to the gateway you configure.
Data You Provide
- Connection details, such as your gateway host, path, provider type, and API or bootstrap token.
- Messages, images, and prompts that you send to your configured gateway.
- Optional voice input, text-to-speech settings, and generated audio cache entries if you use voice features.
Where Data Is Stored
Connection credentials are stored on your device using the system keychain. App settings and non-sensitive connection details are stored locally on your device.
Network Services
When you use Cluster, messages and any selected images are sent to the Hermes, Odysseus, or OpenClaw gateway you configure. If you enable text-to-speech, the text to be spoken may be sent to Fish Audio to synthesize audio. Speech recognition and system permission prompts are handled by Apple platform services.
App Store Privacy Labels
Cluster's App Store privacy answers disclose app-functionality use of user content, photos or videos, audio, and device identifiers. Cluster does not use this data for tracking.
Analytics and Tracking
Cluster does not include advertising SDKs, third-party analytics SDKs, or cross-app tracking.
Notifications
If you enable notifications, Cluster may register your APNs device token and a per-install device identifier with your configured gateway so that gateway can send notifications related to your sessions. You can manage notification permission in system settings.
Data Deletion
You can remove local connection profiles and credentials inside the app or by deleting the app from your device. Data stored by your configured gateway is controlled by that gateway installation.
